gründete im Jahre 2000 die Stiftung „Michael J. Fox Foundation“ zur Erforschung der Erkrankung und Entwicklung neuer Therapien – die von der NEW YORK TIMES als „der Welt glaubwürdigste Stimme der Parkinsonforschung“ bezeichnet wurde (which the New York Times has called „the most credible voice on Parkinson’s research in the world.“)
